The Golfeaser Blog

Nobody teaches you how to handle the guy in your group who calculates handicaps to the second decimal. Nobody writes about what actually happens when four different skill levels try to play the same bet fairly, or how a "quick nine" turns into a three-hour standoff over a gimme putt.

That's the gap this whole site lives in. Every article that goes up on Golfeaser — games explained properly, buddy trip breakdowns, honest gear tests, reader stories that made me laugh out loud at my desk — lands right here first, newest at the top.

I'm not going to dress it up as some curated masterpiece. It's a straight list of everything published lately, in order. But somewhere in it is very likely the exact situation your foursome is dealing with this week — the same betting argument, the same trip-planning headache, the same "what do we do with the guy who just started playing" question. I've probably lived it, or one of you has and sent it in.

So don't overthink this page. Scroll down, find the one that sounds like your Saturday, and start reading. That's the whole system.

Johnny - the creator of Golfeaser

Johnny is a 25-year weekend golfer who's double-booked tee times, forgotten his clubs an hour from the course, and made pretty much every other trip-planning mistake there is — so you don't have to. Guided by The Golfeaser Manifesto, he started Golfeaser.com to prove that weekend golfers are a special, funnier breed who improve the experience, not just the scorecard. He's also the guy behind The Weekend Golfer's Social Playbook — a three-step system for finding your people, running trips that actually come together, and earning the right to brag at the 19th hole.
